Older plan names
Identify a legacy subscription, check its actual price and allowance, and understand what changing plans does.
An existing subscription can have a different price or allowance than the plans sold today. Check Settings → Plans & Billing for your current subscription. The owner can verify the billed amount and renewal date in the secure billing portal.
The retired plans
Older Team, Growth, Power, Max and Business subscriptions can still appear on existing workspaces. The older flat-rate Business subscription is separate from today's Business plan billed per seat. Your existing subscription keeps its current price and renewal schedule unless the owner chooses a change. Use Billing to check its actual allowance.
Why a Growth workspace can say “Team”
Some early workspaces bought Growth at $29 per seat. Their grandfathered subscription can appear as Team in the app while an older invoice still says Growth. The invoice shows the amount that workspace pays.
What you can change
The workspace owner can review the current Team or Business plans in Choose a plan. Before confirming a change, check the new billed price, billing cadence and effective date. A retired offer may no longer be available if you leave it.
A worked example
A workspace owner sees Team in the app and Growth on an older invoice. They check the current invoice and allowance in Billing. They keep their existing subscription until they choose to switch.
What to check
- Your plan has no matching card in the grid. Check the current plan summary and invoice before selecting a new offer.
- Your allowance differs from the public table. Use the allowance shown for your subscription in Billing.
- You want to review a switch. See Change plan, update your card, or cancel.
